1. Short courses Short courses are an excellent way to help you develop new skills in an informal setting and get back on track if you havenโt studied in a while. Short course providers include Adult and Community Education at TAFE, universities, community centres, etc.
2. Vocational and Education Training (VET) VET provides a range of workplace-specific skills and knowledge to meet the needs of employers and the industry. By completing VET courses, you can receive nationally accredited qualifications ranging from Certificate I to Diploma level.
3. Adult apprenticeships and traineeships Australian Apprenticeships are highly user-friendly as it is available to all of working age, and no pre-qualification is required. Apprenticeships often combine time at work with training, and more than 500 occupations are available around Australia.
4. Higher Education A university qualification is always a good option for guiding you to learn new knowledge, including bridging courses. However, this pathway requires more prerequisites in comparison to the previous options. Therefore, conducting thorough research about the right entry-level skills is worthwhile before applying.
